This course translates current dietary guidance into practical advice for people living with COPD. It explains the new inverted pyramid (protein, dairy, healthy fats, vegetables and fruits emphasized; whole grains still important but a smaller share), recommended protein intake (1.2–1.6 g/kg), serving guidelines, sodium reduction, hydration, risks of excess caffeine and soda, ideal body weight formulas, how dairy and gas-producing foods can affect breathing, the problems with nitrates in processed meats, common food allergens, protective dietary patterns, and the Eating & Aggravated Breathing Log for self-tracking.
